CAA Visual Arts students will be selling prints of their artwork and making buttons at the Freight House Farmers Market on Saturday, October 19 starting at 8 a.m.
Students have been researching the process of the river and the impact of trash and pollution. Students picked up trash from the community and riverfront to make artwork out of the trash. All proceeds will be donated to Living Lands and Waters and other selected local environmental causes. Students visited Glass Heritage to understand and learn about the process of building a stained glass window. 7th grade students toured the facility and store gallery.
This visit was in preparation for the German American Heritage Grimm's Project- Stained Glass Windows. 7th Grade Visual Arts students will design and install Stained Glass Windows in the storefront windows of the German American Heritage Center & Museum. These windows will be inspired by Grimms Brother's fairy tales. |
